چکیده
INTRODUCTION: The ability to predict the course of COVID-19 is very valuable in terms optimal use health resources. aim this study was examine value biochemical and hematological parameters estimation hospital stay, disease severity, likelihood death. METHODS: Routine blood analysis data confirmed cases (n=222) were collected analyzed. patients divided into 3 groups: outpatient, inpatient, requiring intensive care. RESULTS: There significant differences between groups age, lymphocyte, neutrophil, hemoglobin, hematocrit, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), red cell distribution width (RDW), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), neutrophil-to-monocyte (NMR), platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR), procalcitonin, C-reactive protein (CRP), D-dimer values. Univariate for mortality revealed NLR, PLR, NMR, CRP Multivariable logistic regression yielded only NMR procalcitonin A positive correlation determined length stay MPV, DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: neutrophil count most appropriate parameter need care (area under curve: 0.782, sensitivity: 73%, specificity: 75%, with a cutoff 4.43). values death multivariate analysis. Age, CRP, associated duration hospitalization.

Association between Laboratory Findings and Mortality of Hospitalized Patients with Covid-19 in Mashhad, Iran
Background and Objective: COVID-19 has enforced high burden on health systems universally. To better allocate limited health equipment, we aimed to investigate the prognostic impacts of laboratory parameters. Materials and Methods: All SARS-CoV-2 patients admitted to Imam-Reza University Hospital, Mashhad, Iran, during three COVID19 peak periods in Iran (March to April 2020, July to August, an...

Background: Considering the high prevalence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and the medical resource constraints, a better understanding of the characteristics of the disease and identifying the factors indicating the severity of the disease can help decide on the allocation of important and limited resources. The current study aimed to investigate the demographic, clinical, laboratory ...
متن کاملAssessment of Clinical and Laboratory Data among the Readmitted COVID-19 and Non COVID-19 Patients in Iran
Background and Objective: Hospital readmissions are common and expensive. Identifying the patients who are at high risk of readmission can decrease readmission. Hence, in the present study, the clinical characteristics, biomarker results, and Computed Tomography (CT) criteria of all the readmitted patients were assessed. Materials and Methods: Data of 98 readmitted patients to the Baqiyatallah...
متن کاملCT Scan Findings in Patients with COVID-19
Background and purpose: Lung involvement is highly important in patients with Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and CT scan plays a major role in diagnosis and treatment of patients. This study investigated a large sample size of COVID-19 patients who performed CT scan. Materials and methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was done using the CT scan findings of all suspected, probabl...
